This is a Seasonal Summer Position.
We are looking for a reliable, skilled, and hardworking Resort Maintenance Technician to join our team at a Minnesota. In this hands-on role, you’ll help keep our resort property, grounds, buildings, and equipment in top condition so our guests enjoy an outstanding experience every day.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform basic to intermediate construction and home repair tasks (drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.)
Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on resort buildings, cabins, and facilities
Handle boat maintenance and repairs (outboard motors, hull care, trailers, etc.)
Perform landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, edging, irrigation repairs, and general grounds upkeep
Operate a tractor and other equipment safely for landscaping or property projects
Troubleshoot and repair minor issues with HVAC, appliances, doors, windows, and fixtures
Complete work orders efficiently while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Assist with seasonal projects and special maintenance needs as required
Requirements:
Proven experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or facilities maintenance
Basic to intermediate skills in construction and home repair (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting)
Experience with boat maintenance is strongly
Knowledge of landscaping and grounds maintenance
Ability to safely operate a tractor and related equipment
Valid driver’s license
Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work outdoors in all weather conditions, and stand/walk for extended periods
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Positive attitude and guest-service mindset
