BayCare Health System is currently in search of our newest Respiratory Care Practitioner who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community at BayCare HomeCare - Extended Care .

The Extended Care team currently contracts Respiratory Therapy programming with 91 nursing homes in 9 counties. n nThe Respiratory Care Practitioner service patients in their home/contracted facility by providing either clinical respiratory services or equipment management services on a scheduled visit/appointment or through on-call notification.
nResponsibilities:
nnnCompleting day to day orders called into the Respiratory Therapy Department and follow up on visits for apnea monitor and or ventilator patients, in compliance with all regulatory agencies.
n
nnEducation of patient and caregivers regarding set up, use, maintenance and safety of respiratory therapy equipment in the home.
n
nnPerforms diagnostic testing on behalf of the physician.
n
nnCommunication with the patient's physician regarding clarification of orders or the patient's response to care may be required.
n
nnPerforms other duties as assigned.

n nCertifications and Licensures Required:
nnnRRT (Respiratory Therapy License) OR CRT welcomed for review
n
nnActive NBRC Credential for RRT
n
nnBLS
n
nnActive Drivers License
n
n nEducation Required:
nnnTechnical Respiratory Therapy
n
nnAssociate's Respiratory Therapy
n
n nSpecific Skills Required:
nnnClinical skills appropriate to position

nnComputer skills appropriate to position
