Respiratory Therapist - Baton Rouge, LA | Night Shift, 12-Hour Shifts

Licenses/Certifications: Current Respiratory Therapist license, BLS, NRP (preferred), ACLS & PALS (preferred)
Experience: Minimum 1 year in respiratory care preferred

Hourly Pay Rate: $52.95

What You'll Do
Provide respiratory care including oxygen therapy, ventilation support, and diagnostic testing
Monitor and wean oxygen and artificial ventilation for patients of all ages
Draw and analyze arterial blood gases and perform EKGs
Assist with artificial airway changes and deliver prescribed therapies
Collaborate with physicians to modify treatment plans as needed
Educate patients and staff on respiratory procedures and safety protocols
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities
What You Need
Required: Current Respiratory Therapist license in Louisiana
BLS Certification
Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care
Certification by the National Board of Respiratory Care (CRT)
Preferred: NRP Certification
ACLS & PALS certifications
At least 1 year of relevant experience
