Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
* To perform high level clinical respiratory care under indirect technical supervision as assigned by the supervisor or team leader.
* Additional the position demonstrates a strong approach to all network initiatives and will be a role model for KHN mission, vision, and values.
* Performs various respiratory procedures on a day-to-day basis under indirect supervision for all age group as specified per campus departmental policy
* Exercises good independent clinical judgment and discretion in applying and interpreting policies and procedures
* Maintains productivity at or above required levels.
* Assures correct documentation of all records
* Occasionally performs the role of Lead Therapist, shift Team Leader, or clinical Instructor as assigned
Job Requirements :
* Minimum Education Graduates of a 2-4-year AMA approved Respiratory Program
* Required Licenses (Ohio, United States) Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner for the State of Ohio Credentials issued by the National Board of Respiratory Care
* Active AARC member must demonstrate acute/critical care knowledge as it relates to cardiopulmonary diseases states, involved in precepting acute/critical care areas, supervisor capabilities, current BLS with ACLS, P, and NRP for respective work area.
