nUSPI complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. nRequired Experience
nnMust be a Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician
nHigh School Diploma or Equivalent
n2-3 years experience as Instrument Room Technician.
nExperience with all types of sterilizers.
nKnows operating room instrumentation.
nOrganized in setting up operating room instrument tray.
nUnderstands operation of steam/ gravity sterilizer.
nUnderstands Sterrad sterilizers.
nAbility to prepare reports and keep records.
nFamiliarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items is required.
