nRespiratory Care Practitioner and Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner — Respiratory Therapy Unit — Kadlec Regional Medical Center Richland, WA
nKadlec is offering a $20,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible experienced external candidates and $10,000 Hiring Bonus for new graduate external candidates who meet all conditions for payment.
nThis is a combined posting for a Respiratory Care Practitioners and Senior Respiratory Care Practitioners. The requirements of each role are listed below under each associated title. nUnder the direction of the leadership of Respiratory Therapy services, the Respiratory Therapist is responsible to see that all treatments/procedures are carried out according to the provider orders. Respiratory therapy operates within all areas of the medical center and assignments will be made based on skills and abilities. Care is provided in areas of the medical center, including but not limited to NICU, Adult ICU, Emergency Department, Birth Center and general medicine. Respiratory Therapists may also work in the outpatient pulmonary rehab area, as well. Pulmonary Function Lab operates as a separate entity and requires additional specialized training.
nUnder the direction of the Respiratory Therapy department leadership, the Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner maintains standards of professional respiratory care and performs related duties as assigned. Performs all duties of staff RT and acts as a resource to other staff members. May train or communicate instructions to other employees and inspect work to separate acceptable work from unacceptable. Does not hire, fire, discipline, promote, demote, transfer, or appraise performance.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
