Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to work at a facility in Stockton, California . These are registry positions with our company.
nPay Rate: $42 / hour

nShift Details: :
nnMedical OT-8HR Class: RCP Shift: 2 Start: 13:30:00 End: 22:00:00
n nDuties:
nnnIdentifies breath sounds, recognizes abnormal breath sounds, recognizes abnormal arterial blood gases, identifies amount and character of secretions, determine need for supplemental oxygen/suction 2. Reports changes in patient's status to charge nurse or physician and staff caring for patient
n
nnDocuments Respiratory Care consistent with hospital charting standards
n
nnComplies with hospital policy for receiving doctor's orders, including verbal and phone
n
nnAccurately gives report to oncoming shift
n
nnReports extraordinary patient problems to supervisor, director or administrator as necessary
n
nnComplies with hospital policies and procedures for selected precautions, i.e.; seizure, suicide
n
nnUses principles of body mechanics in mobilizing patient or objects
n
nnAsks for help when lifting heavy patients
n
nnComplies with policies for restraints
n
nnComplies with policies for electrical safety
n
nnChecks the Emergency Equipment policy
n
nnIncorporates infection control principles in practice
n
nnDemonstrates skills related to the management of emergency situations
n
nnComplies with policy for cardio-pulmonary arrest
n
nnDemonstrates competency for ABG drawing and sampling
n
nnDemonstrates competency for Quality Control and ABG analyzers
n
n nQualifications:
nnnMinimum of 1 year of experience within the last 36 months (3yrs) as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
n
nnAbility to build rapport with patients
n
nnCompassionate and caring demeanor
n
nnFamiliarity with medical terminology
n
nnA valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
n
nnMust have up to date credentials in the state of California
n
