MLR is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT/CRT) to join our team and help improve lives through expert respiratory therapy. As a key member of our collaborative care team, you'll make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes by delivering high-quality, compassionate care.
Respiratory Care Qualifications
Current certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
Active state license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist
Skilled in the use of respiratory care equipment and diagnostic tools
Strong understanding of respiratory therapy techniques, procedures, and patient care protocols
Respiratory Therapist Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients' respiratory function through assessments and medical history reviews
Develop and execute individualized respiratory care plans based on clinical assessments and physician orders
Deliver therapeutic treatments such as oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and ventilator management
Conduct and interpret arterial blood gas (ABG) tests, adjusting care plans as needed
Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory health, equipment use, and home care
Maintain and sanitize equipment to ensure safe, effective operation
