Job Description
Job Title: Respiratory Therapist
Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics

Hours per Shift: 10 hours
Experience: 2 years required
License: Rhode Island License active to start; Connecticut License applied for/in process
Certifications: BLS, CRT, RRT
Must-Have: Pediatrics experience required
Description:
40 hours per week;
8 and/or 12-hour shifts;
Evenings and/or nights;
At least every other weekend and every other holiday based on department need;
Floating to other facilities as needed;
Previous charge experience preferred;
Patient ratio experience required;
Charting system experience preferred;
Travel experience required;
Community hospital experience preferred;
Short-term acute care facility;
Level III trauma center;
Total staffed beds: 252;
Patient age groups include adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics;
Daily census information is not specified;
Skills required include adult critical care, drawing arterial blood gases, emergency department assistance, intubation assistance, nasal airway placement, oral airway placement, suctioning (ETT, NT), and tracheostomy care/management.
