Minimum Experience: 1 year; 1st Timers are accepted Patient Population: Infants to Geriatrics (Primarily Adult RRT but will work with Pediatric intubated patients) Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, GA RRT License General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Midtown is a level 2 trauma center, interventional stroke certified as well as a level 3 NICU. Our NICU is also the regional transport resource. Manages non invasive ventilation, conventional ventilation, aerosol therapy, bedside pulmonary function tests, performs arterial lines, oxygen management, patient education, performs arterial blood gases, capillary blood gases, draws from lines. Trauma experience required Pulmonary function testing (Spirometry testing) preferred Ratio / Census: Not specified Unit Systems: Epic, Pyxis, SBAR, Viasys Vela, GE Carescape, Viaysis Avea Scrub Color: Slate Gray RTO: MAX 7 days Weekends: Every other weekend unless specified elsewhere Floating: Yes, within facility and sister campus as needed (Piedmont Columbus Northside) Call Requirements: None Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major Holidays are listed below: Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Thanksgiving/Black Friday Christmas Eve/Christmas Day New Years Eve/New Years Day Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
