Responsibilities:
Provide clinical oversight and guidance to Certified Medical Assistants
Manage and support patients on Advanced BiPAP ST, AVAPS, IVAPS, ASV
Assist CPAP patients with specialized needs
Recommend adjustments to PAP settings and create orders in electronic medical records
Educate and coach patients on CPAP devices and care
Identify and address barriers to compliance for advanced PAP machine patients
Collaborate with providers and escalate any concerns as needed
Coordinate and order CPAP supplies for advanced PAP machines
Maintain accurate patient records and stay current on respiratory therapy practices
Requirements
Valid Respiratory Therapists (RT) license
Minimum of 2 years experience as a Respiratory Therapist
Knowledge of respiratory therapy equipment and procedures
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Attention to detail and BLS certification
