There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.
nScope of work
nAs a Respiratory Therapist with Corewell Health, you can help patients breathe more easily and live life more comfortably. You'll collaborate with a highly skilled clinical team to help diagnose, monitor, and treat conditions that affect the lungs and breathing in people of all ages.
nQualifications
nnnRequired Associate's Degree Respiratory Therapy
n
nnPreferred Bachelor's Degree Respiratory Therapy
n
nn2 years of relevant experience in pulmonary rehabilitation, respiratory care, sleep medicine or equivalent clinical education Required
n
nnLIC-Respiratory Therapist - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire Required
n
nnCRT-Respiratory Therapist Registry RRT - NBRC National Board for Respiratory Care Upon Hire Required
n
nnCRT-Sedation - ANCC American Nurses Credentialing Center 180 Days Required
n
nnCRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required
