Respiratory Therapist – Critical Care
Are you a skilled Respiratory Therapist seeking an impactful role in a collaborative, patient-first environment? Join our dedicated team in Sturgeon, Missouri, and help provide life-saving respiratory care in a supportive clinical setting.
Your Role: As a Respiratory Therapist in our critical care department, you'll be instrumental in treating patients with severe and life-threatening respiratory conditions. You will administer advanced respiratory treatments, manage ventilators, perform arterial blood gas analysis, and respond to emergency situations. You'll also work closely with ICU staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and deliver expert-level care.
Qualifications: Candidates must hold a degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program and be certified as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) through the NBRC. A current Missouri license to practice respiratory care is required. Experience in critical care or an acute hospital setting is strongly preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical training and a commitment to learning are encouraged to apply. Effective communication, rapid decision-making skills, and a patient-centered mindset are vital to succeed in this role.
