Overview
nPosition: Respiratory Therapist (RT)
nLocation: Milwaukee, WI (St. Francis)
nSchedule: Full Time Nights - 6:30pm-7:00am
nCompensation: $ per hour (based on years of experience)
nCompetitive nights and weekend shift differential
nSign-on bonus: $15,000

n nResponsibilities
nResponsibilities
nnnEvaluating patients and utilizing RT driven protocols to liberate patients from mechanical ventilation and adjust treatment plans within scope.
n
nnCollaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote optimal patient outcomes.
n
nnProviding respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
n
nnBronchoscopies
n
nnArterial Blood gases
n
nnPromoting continuous quality improvement.
n
nnTeaching and counseling patients/families.
n
n nQualifications
nMinimum requirements:
nnnMust possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
n
nnProof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
n
nnPossess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
n
nnCurrent state licensure is required.
n
nnACLS is required within 6 months of hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire).
n
n nPreferred qualifications:
nnOne (1) year of related experience is preferred.
