Job description
Now hiring a dedicated professional with experience as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week contract position. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality respiratory care in a dynamic healthcare environment, utilizing your advanced clinical skills to support patient outcomes.
Schedule:
3 shifts per week, 12-hour night shifts
Hours: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Includes on-call coverage: 4 nights per six-week schedule to support additional areas as needed
Qualifications: Valid Ohio Respiratory Therapy License required
Current BLS certification required
Credentialed as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT)
Prior experience in acute care or hospital settings strongly preferred
Strong interpersonal and patient communication abilities
Ability to adapt quickly and work efficiently in fast-paced conditions
Primary Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
Monitor, assess, and document patient respiratory status throughout each shift
Operate and maintain ventilators, airway equipment, and other life-support tools
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
Respond promptly to emergency situations and participate in rapid response teams as needed
Participate in patient and family education regarding therapy and equipment use
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state guidelines, and infection prevention standards

$1,815 - $1,920/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
