n nDescription:
nnnThe Registered Respiratory Therapist is a clinical professional who utilizes the department's scope of services to access, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care as an integral member of the healthcare team.
n
nnThe Registered Respiratory Therapist delivers Respiratory Care Services under the order of the physician and in accordance with protocols established by the hospital, other health care providers, or the board and functions in situations of unsupervised patient contact requiring individual judgment. Performs noninvasive and invasive procedures with minimal oversight.
n
nnResponsible for appropriate utilization of team resources to effectively and efficiently provide clinical services and quality patient outcomes. Accountable for planning, organizing and controlling all aspects of daily operations.
n
nnThis role will be for the Pediatric/Neonatal Transport Team. A background in Transport or the NICU is highly preferred.
n
n nRequired Experience:
nnn1 year of Respiratory Experience - Required
n
nnA background in NICU or Transport - 20,000 Level II or Level III NICU Experience
n
n nCertifications, Licensures, Education:
nnnACLS (Cardiovascular) - Required
n
nnBLS - Required
n
nnNRP-Required
n
nnRegistered Respiratory license- Required.
n
nnActive NBRC Credential for RRT
n
nnAssociates degree in respiratory- Required
n
