Overview
nPosition: Respiratory Therapist (RT) - New Graduate
nLocation: Select Specialty Hospital - Columbus South (South High Street)
nSchedule: Full-time / 12 - hour shifts / Nights
nCompensation: $35 per hour
nSign-on bonus: $15,000

nResponsibilities
nResponsibilities
nnnEvaluating patients and recommending an appropriate treatment plan.
n
nnProviding respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
n
nnPerforming insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
n
nnPromoting continuous quality improvement.
n
nnTeaching and counseling patients/families.
n
nnPerforms other duties as assigned.
n
n nQualifications
nMinimum requirements:
nnnGraduate of accredited program for Respiratory Therapy.
n
nnMust possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
n
nnProof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
n
nnBLS certification required.
n
nnCurrent state licensure required. Student or Educational permit to practice acceptable based on individual state regulations.
n
nnACLS required within 6 months of hire.
n
