Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist - NICU/PEDS Provide respiratory care for neonate to pediatric patients throughout the children's hospital.
Utilize IPPV/NIPPV ventilators effectively.
Collaborate with respiratory leadership to support patient care.
Adhere to departmental protocols and patient safety guidelines.
Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist - NICU/PEDS 2 years of respiratory therapy experience in a dedicated pediatric unit within the past 5 years.
Current NC Licensure.
RRT or CRT certified.
Valid BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
Experience in ED, PICU, Peds CVICU, Peds PCU, and general med floors.
