Overview
nPosition: Respiratory Therapist (RT) - Per Diem/ PRN - Tier 2
nLocation: Select Specialty Hospital - Columbus - Vic Village (Dennison Ave)
nSchedule: 2 12hr shifts/week, at least 3 weekends shifts every 6 weeks
nCompensation: $55 per hour
nSign-on Bonus: $7,500

n nResponsibilities
nnnEvaluating patients and recommending an appropriate treatment plan.
n
nnProviding respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
n
nnPerforming insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
n
nnPromoting continuous quality improvement.
n
nnTeaching and counseling patients/families.
n
nnPerforms other duties as assigned.

n nQualifications
nMinimum requirements:
nnnMust possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
n
nnProof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
n
nnPossess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
n
nnCurrent state licensure is required.
n
nnACLS is required upon hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift)
n
n nPreferred qualifications:
nnOne (1) year of related experience is preferred.
