n nResponsibilities
nTo perform specialized respiratory therapy services as directed by provider orders and in accordance with protocols, policies, and procedures established by the hospital.
nQualifications
nSuccessful completion of a National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) approved Respiratory Therapy program.
nAdditional Qualifications:
nnnPrevious hospital experience preferred.
n
nnShould be familiar with The Joint Commission standards and requirements.
n
nnUnderstanding of computers.
n
nnGood verbal and written communication skills required.
n
nnShould be familiar with risks associated with exposure to infectious patients, needle puncture hazards, and hazards related to compressed gases.
n
n nLicense/Certification:
nnnNational Board for Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential is required upon hire or by the end of one year of employment and must be maintained throughout duration of employment.
n
nnRequired to have an Arizona Respiratory license prior to their first day of employment.
n
nnRespiratory Therapists are required to maintain Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support or the equivalent as determined by the site of hire.

nExperience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.; $32.43 - $48.66 / hour
