Job Summary and Responsibilities
nAs our Respiratory Therapist , you will join an established team of RTs who share your passion for delivering highly specialized cardiopulmonary care to patients experiencing breathing issues. You'll be instrumental in providing a range of treatments from breathing techniques and nebulizer treatments to ventilator management, oxygen therapies, and external ventilation support.
nEvery day you will apply your keen assessment skills and critical thinking to manage diverse patient needs, develop and execute effective care plans, and ensure calm, focused intervention in both routine and emergent situations.
nTo be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, unwavering calm under pressure, and the ability to anticipate outcomes. Your dedication to patient well-being and exceptional problem-solving abilities will drive success in this vital role.
nnnAssess and evaluate of the appropriateness and effectiveness of therapy based on patient's age, cognitive and physical abilities, and/or developmental needs

nnMake recommendations for changes in specific modes of therapy
n
nnEducates patients and arranges home respiratory care services and patient therapy follow-up assessments using language and materials appropriate for age, cognitive and physical abilities, and/or developmental needs
n
nnAssumes responsibility for personal and professional growth through participation in department meetings, in-service programs and continuing education programs
n
nnMaintains established department policies, procedures and objectives, concerning quality assurance, safety, environmental conditions and infection control

nnnGraduate of an AMA Respiratory Therapy Program

nnRespiratory Care Practitioner: AZ

nnRegistered Respiratory Therapist

nnAmerican Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
