Job description
Are you a compassionate Respiratory Therapist lookin to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents? We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality respiratory car within our skilled nursing and long-term care community.
nRespiratory Therapist Essential Duties
nnnProvide respiratory treatments and therapies as ordered by the physician
n
nnAssess and monitor resident respiratory status during routine treatments and rounds
n
nnIdentify changes in condition and promptly communicate concerns to nursing and providers
n
nnAssist with management of oxygen therapy and oxygen equipment
n
nnMonitor residents utilizing respiratory devices and therapies
n
nnPerform routing respiratory assessment including breath sounds, respiratory effort, oxygen saturation, and treatment effectiveness
n
nnRecognize early sign of respiratory decline and initiate appropriate communication and intervention
n
n nRespiratory Qualifications
nRequired
nnnCurrent Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) license in good standing
n
nnCurrent BLS certification
nPreferred
n
nnExperience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or post-acute care
n
nnACLS certification
n
n
