Respiratory Therapist - Tahlequah,OK
Local Pay: $54.48/hour
Travel Package:
Travel Rate (based on 36 hours): Hrly $24.65 Stipend (Lodging $770.00 + M&I $476.00) = $1,246.00
Total Comp :$2,133.40
Travel Eligibility: Candidates must live at least 50+ miles from the facility to qualify for Travel Pay.

Shift Details: 12hr night shifts, 7p-7a
Respiratory Therapist Duties & Responsibilities: Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions.
Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and respiratory treatments.
Operate and monitor ventilators and other respiratory support equipment.
Perform diagnostic testing, including pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gas sampling.
Respond to respiratory emergencies and participate in rapid response or code teams.
Educate patients and families on respiratory care, medications, and equipment use.
Monitor patient response to therapy and report changes to the healthcare team.
Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Minimum Qualifications: Current, valid, and unrestricted OK license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
Minimum 1 year within the last 3 years as Respiratory Therapist.
Prefer nicu experience if possible
BLS, ACLS, PALS required- AHA
NBRC required
NRP required
Cerner Charting
Must have peds exp.
Neonates to adults, acutely ill with a wide variety of medical problems
Burgundy, maroon, or wine colored scrubs
Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., . BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements ) .
