Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Contract Position
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Night Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM, with every other weekend required.
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a preference for NICU experience to join our respiratory therapy team. As a member of our staff, you will provide essential respiratory care and support to patients, ensuring their comfort and health in our facility.
Responsibilities
Provide respiratory therapy to patients, including assessments, treatments, and interventions.
Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, ensuring proper functionality.
Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy as needed.
Educate patients and families on respiratory care and healthy practices.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Valid Texas Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
Minimum of one year of adult respiratory therapy experience.
Preferred experience in NICU settings.
