Job description
Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU
Location: Brandon, FL
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist with experience in a Level 3 NICU. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-level patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Attend high-risk deliveries.
Manage ventilators including conventional and high-frequency oscillatory ventilation.
Administer surfactant and nitric oxide.
Conduct blood gas acquisitions and interpretations.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license.
Level 3 NICU experience preferred; 3-5 years of Level 2 NICU experience may be considered.
NRP certification is required; STABLE certification is preferred.
