Job description
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
This is a 13-week contract position for a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a focus on providing high-quality respiratory care to patients. The position involves working in various Cleveland Clinic facilities as needed, with a primary emphasis on team collaboration within the NICU expansion coverage for the NMET team.
Responsibilities
Deliver respiratory care according to established protocols and standards.
Participate in interdisciplinary team discussions to optimize patient care outcomes.
Perform assessments and develop treatment plans for patients requiring respiratory therapy.
Administer various respiratory therapies and interventions effectively.
Coordinate care with nursing and other healthcare providers.
Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record system.
Provide education and support to patients and families regarding respiratory care needs.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
Current NBRC certification.
Valid BLS certification (in hand at time of submission).
Active Ohio RRT license (in hand at time of submission).
Experience in a critical care setting preferred.
Must be nicotine-free and pass a negative drug screen.
Schedule
Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
Weekends as needed; may float to other facilities.
