Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift
Assignment Duration
This is a 15-week contract position.
Schedule / Shift
Night Shift: 1830 to 0700 (Three twelve-hour shifts weekly, 36 hours total).
Job Description
The Respiratory Therapist will provide continuous airway management and support for patients in adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations. Responsibilities include ventilator and non-invasive ventilator management, physician consulting, CPR, and all aspects of respiratory care.
Responsibilities
Provide continuous airway management and support.
Manage ventilator and non-invasive ventilator operations.
Consult with physicians regarding patient care.
Administer CPR and other respiratory care interventions.
Utilize computerized charting and Pyxis medication management.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum 2 years of experience in respiratory care.
State of Hawaii Respiratory Therapy License required.
BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required.
RRT certification preferred.
NRP certification preferred.
