Job description
Adult Respiratory Care Practitioner - Per Diem
This position requires a 12-hour shift from 06:00 PM to 06:30 AM.
The Adult Respiratory Care Practitioner provides specialized respiratory care to adult patients as part of a comprehensive care team. This role involves administering treatments, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
Administer respiratory therapy treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor and assess patient respiratory status and progress.
Educate patients and families about respiratory health and self-management.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members to create effective care plans.
Document patient care activities and maintain accurate patient records.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Active Respiratory Care Practitioner's license as required by state regulations.
Completion of Prime CA Sexual Harassment Prevention Training.
COVID-19 vaccination and other vaccinations as listed in onboarding requirements.
Successful completion of Prime Core Competencies Exam and Prime Skills Checklist.
Valid Driver's License or State ID.
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
