Respiratory Therapist - NICU/PICU
Location

Job Description
The Respiratory Therapist will provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory diseases in the NICU/PICU. Utilizing advanced technologies and medication delivery methods, the therapist plays a key role in the multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
Responsibilities
Administer respiratory therapies and evaluate treatments for patients.
Utilize high-flow devices, nebulizers, nitric oxide, heliox, and other respiratory care equipment.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Document patient data and treatments accurately in Meditech.
Provide coverage for adult floors when necessary, including nebulizer therapy and BIPAP.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Must have current NICU/PICU experience.
2 years of current acute care hospital Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) experience.
Certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS.
Preferred: Previous Meditech experience.
