Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with Level IV NICU experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and ready to assist in both Adult floors and ICU alongside the NICU. This position requires exceptional clinical skills, a passion for patient care, and the ability to adapt to diverse patient needs.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive respiratory care for patients in the Level IV NICU, Adult floors, and ICU.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Administer respiratory therapy treatments in accordance with established protocols.
Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to guide treatment options.
Educate patients and families on respiratory care procedures and techniques.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a NICU environment.
Current RRT certification and Washington State Respiratory License.
ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
Experience with NAVA, high frequency oscillators, or high frequency jet ventilation preferred.
Familiarity with EPIC charting system is required.
