Respiratory Care Practitioner
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Day or night shift, based on operational needs. 3 or 4 shifts per week, with on-call responsibilities.
Job Description
The Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) is a trained individual who provides comprehensive respiratory care and therapy services. This role involves modalities of respiratory therapy, emergent and intensive respiratory care, along with diagnostic procedures. The RCP will work as part of a diverse healthcare team dedicated to serving a culturally rich community.
Responsibilities
Administer respiratory therapy and conduct diagnostic procedures.
Provide emergent and intensive respiratory care as required.
Collaborate with medical staff to ensure quality patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care or equivalent education.
Two (2) years of experience in respiratory care at a general/acute hospital.
Current valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP Certification from the American Heart Association.
Current valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license from any state U.S. or territories.
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification must be maintained.
