Job description
Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) Location: Kenai, AK 99611 (Approximately 15 minutes from Kenai)
Full-Time 12-Hour Shifts Days or Nights Available A well-established acute care hospital on Alaska's beautiful Kenai Peninsula is seeking Respiratory Therapists to join its growing team. Multiple full-time openings are available on both day and night 12-hour shifts .
This is an excellent opportunity for a respiratory therapist looking to work in a collaborative hospital environment while enjoying the outdoor lifestyle Alaska has to offer.
Responsibilities Provide respiratory care for patients across all age groups
Perform respiratory assessments and administer prescribed therapies
Manage ventilators and assist with airway management
Obtain and analyze arterial blood gases
Respond to emergency respiratory situations
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team
Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
CRT or RRT credential required
Current BLS required
ACLS, PALS, and NRP preferred or willingness to obtain based on department requirements
Critical care experience is a plus
Schedule Full-time
12-hour shifts
Days or nights available
Rotating weekends/holidays as required
