Overview
nPosition: Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT)
nLocation: Chicago, IL
nSchedule: PRN / Per Diem - Day and Night shift positions available (12hr shifts)
nCompensation: $50.00 per hour, plus shift differential for night and weekend shifts
nSign On Bonus: $5,000

n nResponsibilities
nnnEvaluating patients and recommending an appropriate treatment plan.
n
nnProviding respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
n
nnPerforming insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
n
nnPromoting continuous quality improvement.
n
nnTeaching and counseling patients/families.
n
nnPerforms other duties as assigned.

n nQualifications
nMinimum requirements:
nnnMust possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
n
nnPossess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
n
nnCurrent state licensure is required.
n
nnACLS is required upon hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift)
n
n nPreferred qualifications:
nnOne (1) year of related experience is preferred.
