Job description
Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT)
A respected regional healthcare provider in the Arkansas River Valley is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) to join its patient-focused respiratory care team. This opportunity offers the chance to work in a collaborative hospital setting providing respiratory care across a variety of patient populations.
Responsibilities
Assess, treat, and monitor patients with cardiopulmonary disorders
Administer respiratory therapies and medications
Manage ventilators and other respiratory support equipment
Perform arterial blood gas collection and analysis
Respond to emergency respiratory situations
Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and disease management
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
Current CRT or RRT credential required
Arkansas Respiratory Therapy License (or eligibility to obtain)
BLS certification required
ACLS, PALS, and NRP preferred
Hospital experience preferred but new graduates are encouraged to apply
Schedule
Full-time opportunities
Day and night shifts available
Rotating weekends and holidays as needed
