Job description
Respiratory Therapist
Work 3-12 hour night shifts, with rotating call and weekends.
Multiple positions available with start dates in October 2026, including immediate openings.
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
Must hold a valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC.
Completion of an approved Respiratory Therapy Program.
Valid state licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
Current AHA certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP.
Experience in critical care and ventilator management, including neonatal and pediatric care, specifically Level 2 NICU.
Flu vaccination is mandatory during the flu season (October 1st through April 1st).
Responsibilities
Provide respiratory care and diagnostic procedures for patients of all ages and acuity levels.
Monitor and manage patients on ventilators, ensuring optimal respiratory function.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and families on respiratory health and equipment usage.
Perform assessments and interventions in accordance with established protocols.
