Job description
Respiratory Therapist
Day or night shift, based on operational needs. 3 or 4 shifts per week, including on-call responsibilities, holiday coverage, and overtime as required. No leave requests will be approved for this duration.
24-hour coverage rotational, with weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime. Minimum of 3 years of experience required.
Associate's degree in respiratory care or equivalent education (certificate of completion in respiratory care). Valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certification from the American Heart Association. Current valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license from any state in the United States. Current valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
Deliver modalities of respiratory therapy and perform diagnostic procedures. Provide emergent and intensive respiratory care. Monitor and assess patient respiratory status and treatment outcomes. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and families about respiratory conditions and treatments.
