Job Description
Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Care
Schedule
NIGHTS - 12HR: 7P-7:30A. 36 hrs/week E/O Weekend; NO block scheduling. Holidays as needed.
Assignment Details
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week
Contract Weeks: 13
Requirements
Current licensure as an RRT in the state.
Certification from NBRC.
ACLS and BLS certification required.
Minimum of 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
Experience in Adult Acute Care settings such as ICU, PCU, ED, or floor therapy.
Responsibilities Provide respiratory care to adult patients in various acute care settings.
Perform assessments of patients and administer appropriate treatment.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care.
Educate patients and families on respiratory health and therapies.
Document all patient care activities in accordance with facility guidelines.
