Job Description
Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist
Profession: Registered Respiratory Therapist

Shift: 06:00 PM - 06:30 AM
Hours per Shift: 12 hours
Experience: Minimum of 2 years
License: Required
Certifications: BLS, PALS, NRP
Must-Have: Previous Epic Experience within the last 12 months. Some pediatric experience preferred.
Description:
Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders.
Assume primary responsibility for all respiratory care modalities, including the supervision of respiratory care students.
Initiate and conduct therapeutic procedures.
Maintain patient records.
Select, assemble, check, and operate equipment.
Provide high-quality respiratory care to the following patient populations: Neonate, Infant, Toddler, School Age, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric.
Work 12-hour shifts.
Every other weekend and holiday rotation required.
On-call required once every scheduling period.
May cover other shifts as needed.
A shift of mandatory low census may be implemented per week, depending on patient load.
Maintain a weekly commitment of 36 hours.
