Job description

Key Qualifications:
Active credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Current, unrestricted state license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist
Demonstrated experience delivering respiratory treatments in a clinical or hospital environment
Proficient in managing ventilators, oxygen therapy, and nebulizer treatments
Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to assess and respond to patient needs efficiently
Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities: Administer respiratory therapy modalities in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
Evaluate patient responses to therapy, adjust treatment plans, and collaborate with medical providers
Monitor, operate, and maintain respiratory equipment, ensuring proper sterilization and functionality
Educate patients and their families on procedures, treatments, and effective respiratory care at home
Document patient progress, therapies administered, and clinical observations accurately and timely
Respond promptly to emergency situations, assisting with airway management and code responses as needed
