Respiratory care plays a vital role in Children's national recognition for patient safety and family-centered care.Respiratory therapists are involved in airway management, ventilatory support (including high frequency and NAVA), asthma education, point of care testing, cystic fibrosis disease management, and emergency respiratory interventions. The position works alongside the respiratory therapists and respiratory equipment technicians, ensuring timely and accurate patient care as needed. DHS Background Study: Yes, required*Ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English *Excellent customer service and skills *Ability to independently use a computer and other related devices to complete work *Must be highly organized and detail oriented under minimal supervision *Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Education: *High school diploma preferred *One year of experience in a patient care setting preferred Experience: *One year of work experience in either a customer service or hospital environment
