Respiratory Therapy Director
Join our team at North End Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center as a Respiratory Therapy Director. Proudly supported by Marquis Health Consulting Services, this full-time position offers a salary range of 100K-120K.
At North End Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, we believe that strong clinical leadership in respiratory care is essential to ensuring safe, effective, and high-quality outcomes for residents with complex pulmonary needs. Guided by our core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence, the Respiratory Therapy Director oversees departmental operations, clinical standards, and staff development to ensure excellence in respiratory care delivery.
Responsibilities for Respiratory Therapy Director:
Oversee the daily operations of the respiratory therapy department to ensure high-quality, resident-centered care.
Develop and implement departmental policies, procedures, and strategic plans to support clinical excellence and operational efficiency.
Lead staff training, education, and professional development initiatives within the respiratory therapy department.
Monitor and evaluate departmental performance data to identify opportunities for quality improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare laws, regulations, and facility policies.
Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive respiratory care plans.
Support clinical decision-making for complex respiratory cases, including ventilator and tracheostomy management.
Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within the department.
Qualifications for Respiratory Therapy Director:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care required.
Current state licensure required.
Experience with tracheostomy care and ventilator management in a skilled nursing facility, LTACH, or hospital setting required.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
