Job description

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Preferred Skills/Experience: Critical care and emergency care skills preferred.
Unit Details: Procedures include aerosol treatments, BiPAP management, and ventilator management. Respiratory therapists perform intubation, arterial line insertion, and bedside bronchoscopy assistance. Respiratory therapists participate in daily nursing-unit rounds. Equipment includes various ventilators and BiPAPs, including new Puritan Bennett 980 ventilators, Vapotherm, Philips V60+, and Siemens EPOC bedside ABG analyzers.
Shift & Scheduling: Minimum of three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends.
Floating Requirements: Respiratory therapists rotate throughout all inpatient units, including all floors and two ICUs.
10 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
