Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• AS completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >65 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: NICU experience preferred.

Preferred Credentials: NRP certification is preferred only for trained therapists working in the NICU.

Unit Details: Provides respiratory care treatment, oxygen services, diagnostic testing, and ventilation support for inpatients and outpatients ranging from neonatal to geriatric. Monitors and weans oxygen therapy and artificial ventilation. Draws, analyzes, and reports arterial blood gases; performs EKGs and intermittent therapy. Assists with changing artificial airways.

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years

Proof of identification required for submission

Certifications:

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
