Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Respiratory Unit experience.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >65 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: First-time travelers are accepted with at least 2 years of experience and Cerner or Epic EMR experience. Two years in a level 3 NICU. Adult general and critical care skills are required. NICU ground transports and nitric oxide administration are required. Must be able to work independently in a level 3 NICU. RRT is preferred; CRT may be considered with at least 2 years of experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience: NICU transport experience is preferred.

Unit Details: Patient types include patients throughout the hospital; the RT NICU position serves NICU patients. Unit equipment and systems include Omnicell, Spacelabs monitors, PB 840, PB 980, Drager VN500, LTV, Airvo, and an Oscillator 3100A.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Voluntary call. One major and one minor seasonal holiday per policy.

Floating Requirements: Floats to any like unit or patient location; NICU therapists will also work with adults.

7 days maximum time off. Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
