Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Respiratory Unit experience with any experience within the last 4 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years of experience with NICU and pediatric patients and the ability to intubate are required.

Required Credentials: Graduate of an approved Respiratory Therapy Program.

Unit Details: Provides basic and critical respiratory care services for adult and geriatric patients. Provides care to ventilator patients. Administers aerosol and oxygen therapy and draws arterial blood gases per policy and physician order. Performs drainage procedures and assists physicians with bronchoscopies and special procedures. Ensures completion of initial ventilator bundle orders and compliance with the VAP bundle for patients receiving mechanical ventilation.

Shift & Scheduling: Rotating weekends.

Floating Requirements: You may be required to float to Adventist Health locations within 30 miles.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Manager reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
