Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• High School completion required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/TDAP declinations.
Required Credentials: High school diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or associate’s degree/technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience is required. Driver License is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.
Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position. In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on drivers license.
Unit Details: Provides evaluation of and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies. Assesses patients for the appropriate type and frequency of treatment and develops a plan of care based on diagnosis. Implements and monitors patient care plans and equipment; monitors, records, and communicates patient conditions. Performs advanced respiratory care modalities. Evaluates respiratory practice, medication administration, and treatment based on patient outcomes. Educates the patient and family about the health condition and provides information about community support groups and other available programs. Responds to emergency resuscitation team codes.
