Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Preferred Credentials: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred. Master’s degree preferred.

Unit Details: Provides basic and critical respiratory care services for adult and geriatric patients with respiratory disease. Draws arterial blood gases, cares for ventilator patients, performs pulmonary function tests and drainage procedures, assists with bronchoscopies and specialty equipment, and supports cardiorespiratory rehabilitation.

Floating Requirements: You may be required to float to Adventist Health locations within 30 miles.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Manager reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• Pediatric Advanced Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS)
