Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of travel experience is required.

• 3 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Anyone who worked as a traveler at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

If a BSN degree is the highest level of education, verify the graduation date and upload a copy of your diploma to your credentials. OU Health University of Oklahoma Medical Center is Oklahoma’s only Level I Trauma Center.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Clinicians should have strong Trauma Level 1 experience and/or be willing to work with difficult cases. Two (2) years of respiratory care experience in a critical care setting preferred.

Required Credentials: Graduation from an approved Respiratory Care Program.

Unit Details: Provides services for all appropriate age levels and in all areas served by the department. Administers therapeutic treatments as prescribed by attending medical staff. Performs invasive and noninvasive diagnostic testing and monitoring of patients. Ensures that respiratory equipment is cleaned and maintained. Performs as part of the quick response team for cardiac and respiratory arrests.

Floating Requirements: Travelers will be first to float.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
