Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• Experience with Meditech is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: - Experience with acute or chronic respiratory failure, pneumonia, flu, COVID, post-open-heart patients, critical/vented patients, CHF, and COPD is required. - Required skills include ventilator management, BiPAP (non-invasive ventilation), high-flow O2, assisting with intubations, bedside bronchoscopies, and tracheostomy insertion and care.
Preferred Skills/Experience: - NICU experience preferred.
Special Requests: - RTO requests must go through the manager.
Unit Details: - The patient population is mostly adults, with some children possible in the ER. - Common cases include acute or chronic respiratory failure, pneumonia, flu, COVID, post-open-heart patients, critical/vented patients, CHF, and COPD. - Patient caseload is based on a point system and varies by assigned unit. - RRTs respond to rapid responses, traumas, and codes. All RRTs rotate this responsibility, and the RRT assigned to the ER is the primary RRT for it. - Equipment includes Pyxis, Draeger and V500 Draeger ventilators, Hamilton LTV transport ventilators, A and B oscillators, a P Newton neonatal pneumatic ventilator, and V60 BiPAP machines.
Shift & Scheduling: - Weekend rotation varies based on unit needs, and the clinician may be scheduled every weekend. - No call. - 50% of holidays are expected during the contract. - Shift times may be or . - The schedule is made in 6-week increments and released several weeks before it begins.
Floating Requirements: - The clinician floats throughout the hospital, including the ER, PCU, Med-Surg, and ICU; floating to Children’s is not required unless the clinician is comfortable.
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
