Experience:
• 3 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • Flu vaccination required for submission. Medical declinations accepted.
• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: - Tertiary, teaching hospital experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: - NICU/PICU cardiothoracic experience preferred.
Required Credentials: - NRP is required for NICU assignments.
Special Requests: - Travel pairs are not accepted. - Reasonable scheduling preferences may be considered, but only approved requested time off (RTO) documented in the contract is guaranteed; additional schedule requests, specific shifts, weekends off, or time off outside approved contractual RTO are not guaranteed.
Unit Details: - Patient ratios are 1:25 for acute patients and 1:8 for critical patients. - Ventilators include Dräger V500 and VN500, Hamilton T1 and C1, Respironics V30 and V60, the Trilogy line, Airvo, and Vapotherm.
Shift & Scheduling: - Shift options are 7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 7:00 PM–7:30 AM. - Every other weekend. - Call participation is required for 2 hours for the oncoming shift, with approximately one call shift per month or as required by the department. - Work schedules are determined by department operational needs.
Floating Requirements: - RRT coverage extends throughout the facility. - Float requirements include some NICU/PICU coverage; acute-care pediatrics and ED coverage are required, as is adult acute and critical care coverage.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years
1 Manager reference required from within the last 2 years
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
